August Update: Introducing the Rize Agent Toolset

Rize is evolving from a time tracker into an AI operations expert. Instead of checking dashboards, assembling reports, and chasing down context, you can ask Rize for answers and let it handle more of the recurring work in the background.

This month we are launching the Rize Agent toolset: a chat experience, reusable AI Reports, scheduled Routines, Shared AI Skills, and Agent Context. Together they help freelancers, agencies, and organizations put time reviews, reporting, and operational follow-up on autopilot.

Chat with Rize about your work

The new Rize Agent is a dedicated chat surface for your time data. Ask what you worked on today, which clients took the most time, who is over capacity, or what unbilled work needs review. The agent returns rich answers with charts, linked records, and suggested actions.

You can start from preset prompt chips instead of a blank text box, keep the conversation open while you work elsewhere in Rize, and pick up the same thread when the response is ready.

Turn recurring questions into AI Reports

AI Reports turn the analysis you repeat into something Rize can run for you. Start from templates like monthly team overview or client profitability, choose the scope, edit the prompt, and run the report once or on a schedule.

Report runs are generated from live Rize data, with revenue, cost, margin, and hours broken down and linked back to the underlying records. You can download them as PDFs or continue the conversation by chatting with the report.

Schedule work with Routines

Routines are scheduled prompts that run automatically. Use them for start-of-day prep, end-of-day reviews, weekly team check-ins, tag review reminders, or any recurring brief you currently build by hand.

A completed routine can appear in Rize, arrive by email, or be delivered through Slack. Each brief can include follow-up actions that open the Agent with the right context, so a morning plan can become an afternoon conversation without extra navigation.

Teach Rize with Shared Skills and Agent Context

Shared AI Skills are reusable instructions that can be personal, team-wide, or workspace-wide. Save a prompt once, then reuse it across chat, reports, and routines. When the process changes, update the Skill once and every workflow that references it stays current.

Agent Context tells Rize how you work. It can describe your role, define how your team tags clients and projects, set rules for activity summaries, and keep the agent aligned with how your business thinks about work.

Connect Rize to Claude, ChatGPT, and internal tools

The same agent layer is available outside Rize through the API and MCP updates. External agents can run reports, inspect routine briefs, fetch Skills, and update context, so Claude, ChatGPT, and internal workflows can use Rize as the time-intelligence layer behind your operations.

• Create an AI Report from a template and schedule it.
• Build a Routine for a daily or weekly review you currently do by hand.
• Save your first Skill and share it with your team.
• Add context so Rize tags clients, projects, and tasks the way your team would.
