The Rize Agent is a chat experience for your tracked time, team activity, projects, clients, reports, routines, and Skills. Ask a question in plain English and Rize returns an answer you can inspect, follow up on, or act from.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Freelancers and agencies lose time turning raw timesheets into decisions. The Agent turns captured work into answers for billing prep, client reviews, staffing, and project follow-up while the context is still fresh.

A dedicated Agent tab
Rize now has a dedicated Agent tab in the app. The sidebar has been reorganized around the major parts of your workspace, and the Agent tab gives you a place to ask questions without leaving Rize.
The agent uses the same permissions as your account. If you can see the data or take the action in Rize, the agent can help with it from the conversation.
Prompt chips for common questions
You can start from preset prompts instead of a blank text box. For example, click Generate weekly report and Rize will open a conversation grounded in your live data.
Rich responses, not plain text
Agent responses can include charts, client/project/task references, colored breakdowns, and action chips. A question like "How were my hours split by client?" can return a visual breakdown you can inspect directly in the answer.
Keep the conversation open while you work
You can minimize the chat and keep using the rest of Rize while the agent works. When the response is ready, reopen the conversation and continue from the same context.

- End-of-day summaries: "What did I work on today?"
- Client reviews: "Which clients took the most time this week?"
- Team check-ins: "Who is over capacity?"
- Billing prep: "What unbilled work should I review?"
- Project questions: "What changed on this project since last week?"
You can also connect the same Rize data to Claude, ChatGPT, or internal tools through the Rize API and MCP.
