The problem
Why Jira and Confluence data sits apart from your hours
Jira knows what was planned and Confluence holds the specs. Neither knows how many hours went into the work. Story points and estimates stand in for real time, so sprint reviews and client reports rely on guesses.
Rize tracks time automatically across every app. With the Atlassian connector, the Rize agent can read your Jira issues and Confluence pages and put them next to that tracked time, so a question like "how many hours did we spend on PROJ-142 this sprint" gets a real answer.
What you can do
Official Atlassian MCP server, connected with your own Atlassian login
Ask the Rize agent about Jira issues, sprints, and Confluence pages in chat
Mention Jira & Confluence with @ in chat to point the agent at it first
Routines can pull Jira issues on a schedule and compare them with tracked hours
Writes such as creating an issue or comment are shown to you for approval first
Scheduled routines only get read access, so nothing changes in Jira without you
Key benefits
What you get with Rize
Estimates next to actual hours
See the hours Rize tracked beside the Jira issues they belong to, without anyone logging work by hand.
Weekly sprint recaps
Set a routine to summarize what shipped in Jira and where the time went, and email it every Friday.
Specs in context
The agent can read the Confluence page behind a project when it writes a client update or budget summary.
How to set it up
