Faster load times across the app
We've optimized the queries behind dashboards, reports, and the daily timeline. Pages that previously took a few seconds to load — especially for teams with months of data — are now noticeably faster. The biggest gains are on:
- Dashboard widgets that aggregate team data
- Reports with large date ranges
- The daily calendar view for heavy trackers
No action needed on your end — the improvements are live for everyone.
Automatic retry for failed time entries
Previously, time entries that failed to generate would get stuck in a "generate failed" state — and stay there. You'd lose tracked time with no easy way to recover it. Now Rize automatically retries failed entries on a schedule until they succeed. We've seen a significant drop in "generate failed" entries since adding this.
Load More for tasks, projects, and clients
Long lists of tasks, projects, and clients now load incrementally with a "Load More" button instead of trying to render everything at once. If you have hundreds of tasks or dozens of clients, the page loads faster and scrolling is smoother.
FIXES
Ending a meeting early now ends the time entry
If you left a meeting before it was scheduled to end, the associated time entry kept running until the original end time. Now when you end a meeting early, the time entry stops with it — so your tracked time matches reality.
Day report no longer includes billable hours from the previous day
The daily report was sometimes pulling in billable hours that belonged to the day before — inflating your totals and making the numbers hard to trust. Fixed. Each day's report now only includes entries that fall within that day.
Admin billable hours now calculate correctly
Admins viewing team-wide billable hour totals were seeing incorrect numbers in certain edge cases. The calculation has been corrected so the totals match what you'd get if you added up each member's entries individually.
Lofi music channels restored
A couple of lofi beats YouTube channels that power the focus music player had gone stale. We've updated the channel list with fresh sources so the music keeps playing.
