ClickUp 2.0 Integration — Fully Automated Time Tracking in ClickUp
We’ve released ClickUp 2.0, a rebuilt integration that brings fully automated time tracking directly into ClickUp.
Rize now syncs tasks, projects, and clients automatically and keeps time entries in both tools up to date — without timers or manual input.
Rize is now an official ClickUp integration, listed in the ClickUp App Store.
What’s New
1. Full Two-Way Sync
Tasks and time entries stay in sync between Rize and ClickUp. Anything created or edited in one tool is reflected automatically in the other.

2. Flexible Mapping
Configure how your ClickUp setup maps into Rize:
- Spaces or Folders → Clients
- Folders or Lists → Projects
This lets Rize mirror your existing structure without requiring any re-organization.

3. Filtering by Space, Folder, or List
Choose exactly which ClickUp work areas you want to sync.
You can include or exclude specific Spaces, Folders, or Lists — ideal for teams that manage multiple clients or internal projects and only want to track time for selected work.
4. Automatic Time Entry Sync
When Rize tracks your activity, time entries are automatically tagged and posted to the correct ClickUp task — complete with the description, timestamps, and billable status.

5. Bi-Directional Edits
Update a time entry’s details or billable flag in ClickUp, and Rize will sync those changes back automatically.

6. Accurate Reporting in Both Tools
View consistent, real-time reports in both Rize and ClickUp. Client, project, and billable hour breakdowns always remain in sync.
How It Works
- Go to Settings → Integrations → ClickUp in Rize.
- Connect your ClickUp account and select your workspace.
- Configure how your spaces, folders, and lists map to clients and projects.
- Use the filtering options to include only the ClickUp areas you want Rize to sync.
- Once connected, Rize begins tracking time automatically and posting those entries to the right ClickUp tasks.
You’ll see your tracked work appear in ClickUp without starting or stopping timers — Rize handles everything in the background.
